about

Carli Erin Boisjolie is a Canadian printmaker, bookbinder, and aspiring ceramicist, currently based in Beirut, Lebanon. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and an Art and Design Diploma from Keyano College. Her practice explores ideas of identity in relation to place, using letterpress, drawing, and the artist book form.

As a printmaker, her work integrates process, pattern, sequence, and repetition, which are inherent to the discipline. The ceramics that she makes are currently functional, as she discovers her style and learns how to think and speak about ceramics.

Boisjolie’s work has been exhibited in Vancouver, Portland, and Japan.
