About the artist and Studio Sans Racines

Carli Boisjolie is a Canadian visual artist and ceramicist, currently based in Santiago, Chile. Her work is inspired by her life of movement; nature, impermanence, and ceramic traditions in the places she has lived and travelled. She also creates illustrated artist books and zines, bound by hand.

Studio Sans Racines was founded in 2023 to represent her ceramic works. A studio without roots. Each piece is a reflection of a place, movement, and memory.

Carli graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2014, and has exhibited her works in Canada, Japan, Lebanon, Chile, and the USA.
